Derick Barker will be preaching at Garden Creek Baptist Church at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Campers in the park are invited to come as they are.

New books available to check out at the library include “Home is where the heart is: The Dakota Series” by Linda Byler, “Honeysuckle Dreams” by Denise Hunter, “I’ve Got My Eyes on You” by Mary Higgins Clark, “Miss Julia Raises the Roof” by Ann Ross and “Mornings on Main” by Jodi Thomas.

Summer Reading Program is now underway at the Traphill Branch Library. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock” and there are some great programs planned for the summer.

Traphill Fire Department will have its annual meeting on Friday at 7 p.m. Everyone who lives within the fire district is invited to attend.

Congratulations to all the graduates in the area. You have a lot to look forward to now.

Condolences go to the family of Arliene Eller LeFever, who died on June 2. Arliene is the sister of Maxine Johnson.

Traphill had a low temperature of 64.7 degrees on June 1 and a high temperature of 86.7 degrees on June 3. There was 2.2 inches of rain during the week of May 28-June 3.
