Clingman scholarships awarded

The Clingman Medical Board has created an annual scholarship opportunity for local students that have demonstrated a desire to pursue a career in the medical field. It is the desire of the medical board to see the students succeed and hopefully return to this area as a service to the community. The Clingman Medical Center operates in the Clingman area and offers total family care to the surrounding area. This year the center awarded $15,000 in scholarships to 13 area students. They are Addy Marshall, Emily Kissinger, Lindey St. John, McKenna Haynes, McKenna Shumate, Jordan Whitley, Kinley Adams, Bailey Young, Maryory Reyes, Elizabeth Spicer, Seth Longbottom, Mary Cortez and Grant Bare. - Submitted photo
