Christmas means Jesus’ birthday. It means to spend time with your family. I like to open presents but that is not what Christmas is all about though. Christmas is about joy and peace and happiness. I love Christmas!

Christmas means to me that Jesus was born. I get presents from Santa because the three wise men gave presents to Jesus and I get to be with family. We listen to Christmas songs and watch Christmas movies. Christmas means love and celebrating how Jesus was born. We think of Santa and the joy he gives and the elves. That’s what Christmas means to me.

What Christmas Means to Me

I see presents, I see love,

I see fun times and toys,

I see family, I see friends,

When I think of Christmas

I think about Jesus,

I think of beautiful snow.

When Christmas comes,

I count down to days

to fun, and toys, and things of that sort.

Christmas is beauty,

Christmas is fun.

That’s what Christmas means to me.

Christmas means Jesus’ birth and how he died for us and so we are technically celebrating his birthday and he is giving us presents. It’s also about seeing friends and family and having fun. To get presents you have to be good. I think of the good food we are going to get on Christmas morning and I get to have a fire because it is freezing!

Ava Golden

What Christmas Means to Me

What Christmas means to me is, NOT getting presents but spending time with family and friends. It is also about Jesus’ birthday. The fact that our families work really hard to do all of this for us and then we sometimes forget those special moments. We never say thank you but we should because it makes people feel great.

Not a lot of animals are allowed in my house besides my dog and I hope Rudolph is not in our house but at the same time I hope he is because I think he is magic and if he comes in my house would be magic. I will ask Santa for a power to fly or something to make me fly I want it to be a magic potion but it might be some toy. I would want to be Santa so I could have a cookie every year. Dose Santa ever brush his teeth. I know Rudolf has about had I with carrots. I don’t even like carrots I would regret carrots if I was Rudolf. I would fly away. Enjoy your family and marry Christmas and a happy new year and sorry Santa for using your catch phrase but HO HO HO!

I think they are brother and sister. My brother leaves on the weekend and the elf goes with him but not always. The elves were in a shoe and in the bathroom. It was funny. Last year I heard my elf get in cookies and in the morning she was still eating her cookie. One time I told her to get a little of my drink and she did. Monday we got to stay home till 10:00 and we put up decorations and we found to candles that are snowmen and today they were with the snowmen. What Christmas means to me is to spend time with my family, remember the people we love and cherish the moments we have with our families. Just to enjoy people’s company because not all days you have are like Christmas. Christmas is a day to also be thankful. Thankful that you have your family with you. Thankful that your family is good and healthy. It may not be the best days of all but at least it’s a day with your family and friends that maybe you don’t often see. That what Christmas means to me.

Sandra Javier

I think Christmas means to see family and friends and to just be happy and thankful for your family. And to not worry about anything and just relax and don’t get mad if you don’t get what you wanted for Christmas. Just be happy for what you have, and that what Christmas means to me. Laura Shore Fifth grade Elkin Elementary

Christmas means to celebrate with your family and friends and to give to people in need. Christmas means to have fun and to thank others and to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

I think that people should celebrate Christmas all around the world.

Easton Townsend

Christmas means to me is that some of my family comes from far, far away. We go shopping and wrap the presents and put them under the tree. When it is time to open the presents, they get them and give them to us. But first we bless the food, then we eat and then we talk or go to the park. We come home and wait for 12:00pm so we can open the presents.

Ashley Casanova

What Christmas means to me is spending time with your family. When I asked my little brother what it was about he said it was about the presents and I said NO! It’s about when Jesus Christ was born, and then I realized it was also about loving God. Whenever I wake up in the morning I think about the presents but whenever I start to open them I think about God, and Jesus Christ. Since I think that family is what Christmas is to me I pray for my family.

Mia Luffman

Christmas to me means visiting with by aunties, cousins and uncles. The whole family gets together and celebrates when Maria gave birth to Jesus Christ. It means love and opening the presents and to not be bad through the year because Santa will give you coal.

Isaac Narvaez-Santiago

To me Christmas is a time where you give and spend time with your family and to think about Jesus. Some people think it`s about getting presents but I think it should be about giving. There can be people in really bad situations while there can be people getting so many presents and then… not even saying thank you. I think it`s a great time to spend with your family and get to have some fun. It is a really big thing to think and talk about Jesus because this was when he was born.

Emma Hawkins

To me Christmas means being loving, giving and sharing. It also is the time that boys, girls and adults need to be grateful for everything, and that sometimes bad things could turn into miracles. Also Christmas is a time that we need to think about Jesus Christ and how he died on the cross because he loved all of us and forgave us for our sins. I also think it is just a very happy time of the year because it is a great setting and mood with all of the lights, decorations, and food, like hot chocolate, ham, etc. I also think it is very fun to go around driving and admiring all of the decorations people put up and even make. One of the most fun things that Christmas means to me is the presents. I love how people give each other presents. Finally, I enjoy playing games at Christmas and gathering around with family members to meet together every year.

Carter Oakes

Christmas to me is a time that I get to spend with my family and sit by the fire and talk. I love waking up to all of my family. My brother and I run upstairs and it has always been the same everybody is smiling and happy. And the most important thing is not presents or the snow it is Jesus and how he saved my family and I and how he loves us. But I am still a normal kid and it still is fun to get presents.

Chip Sloop

What Christmas means to me is that I wake up in the morning and have a nice and healthy breakfast. I go to my family’s house and have a good time. I don’t think it’s all about the presents, I would rather spend time with my family because the people in my family are more special to me than a toy. I love Christmas because I get to spend so much time with my family like when we all decorate the Christmas tree and my favorite time is when we go to church. Christmas is not a time for presents and food it is a time to remember the birth of baby Jesus.

K’Dynce McGrady

To me, Christmas means Jesus’s birthday and that we get to spend time off school with our families.

Callie Harris

Christmas to me isn’t about presents or food. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, and being surrounded by friends and family. The time of Christmas brings us together and keeps us together until the season is over. And it even gets us to help one another. Christmas is a time for joy, love, friendship, and most importantly Jesus. Christmas can bring good memories about family. On Christmas I like to thank GOD for sending his son to save us from punishment, and giving us mercy. Christmas is all of that and more.

Jonah Brown

Christmas means a lot to me because you get to give out gifts. People that are in your family like your brothers, sister, mom, dad and even your cousins. When I give out gifts it makes me happy. And I like to see my older sister who lives in a different state. And you can learn about Jesus and when he was born.

Hill Canter

Christmas means to me that it is a time where you and your family can have great time together. Like opening presents, eating great food and talking about all the memories that we all have from all the past Christmas’s. You can remember all the loved ones in your family that have passed. You also get to play some games, and I get to play with my cousins and my new stuff and I get to go to other people’s houses to open presents too. That is what Christmas to me.

Mia Doub

Christmas means a lot to me presents, family meals and other traditions that involve activities but the one important thing that means to me is Christ. Every year on Christmas at church we do a skit and everyone has a part. This year I finally get to be in it. I think it’s going to be amazing. Speaking of amazing, two of my friends will be in it too, we all are angels and will be singing.

I’ll be singing Away in a Manger and my friends will be singing Amazing Grace and Tell the Story of Jesus. There will be a lot of scenes like castles, a forest and a farm. I also think Christmas is important because you get to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Presley Swaim

Christmas to me is spending time with my family. It is where I get to go to my grandma’s house to eat lunch and spend time with my family. When we are at my grandma’s house I get play games with my cousins and open presents. Then we celebrate us all being together on Christmas. On Christma Eve, my family goes to my nanny and pa’s house. We eat and the kids play while the parents play dirty Santa. After the parents play dirty Santa, the kids get to open their presents. Then we just talk to each other. Then we go home. On Christmas morning me and my family go take pictures in front of the Christmas tree. Then we get to open a few presents.

Alyssa Davis

Christmas means the birth of Christ and being with my family. It doesn’t mean presents and gifts or even Santa, it means loving God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. How God gave his only son to us to forgive us of our sins. And being with the people we love and want to be with. Being happy and enjoying each others company, feeling the feeling we get when we give and not receive. That’s what Christmas means to me truly.

Raelin Carter

Christmas means that it is time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and be with my family. I get to watch movies and bake cookies and eat with my family on Christmas Eve. Then the next day is Christmas when I get to open presents and eat with my family. Sometimes on Christmas I get to go to church to learn more about Jesus who was born on December 25. That day today is known as Christmas. And all that day I am happy because I get new toys but most of all is that I get to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Also sometimes it snows on Christmas and I go out and play in the snow. On our Christmas tree we have very cool lights and ornaments. Christmas means happiness and joy to me, my family and hopefully to everyone around the world.

Benjamin Spencer

What Christmas means to me is to have friends and family all come together and celebrate when Jesus was born and for what he did for us. On Christmas we get presents when we are good but when we get presents it’s a reward from Santa from Jesus because Jesus wants to reward all the people who pray to him the Savior. When we get presents it means that he is thanking us for praying to him. In the song “he knows when we’re awake” it means Jesus is watching over us so if we are awake he tells Santa to skip there house because he is a naughty person.

Zachary Stuart

Christmas is a time to get presents, have parties, and to celebrate and be with family. But the most part about Christmas is Jesus. He was born December 25. Today that is know as Christmas. It is time to celebrate him and family and to put out cookies and milk for Santa to bring toys to kids all over the world. It is a time to go to church and have fun and it snows near Christmas so we make snow cones and drink hot chocolate. We also have decorations such as a Christmas tree. We decorate it with ornaments and candy canes. We also have a lot of food such as ham, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni and sweets. That’s what Christmas means to me.

Haley Hemric

What Christmas means to me is that you get to spend time with your family and have a nice dinner. It also means that you get to decorate a Christmas tree with your mom or dad or even your sister and brother. You also have all your family members coming over to your house. What Christmas means to me is that you get to open your presents that your family members gave to you. Christmas is also Jesus’s birthday and that’s the most important part of celebrating Christmas. Christmas is also for having fun with your family members .

Sofia Guzman

What Christmas means to me is the birth of Jesus and how he died on the cross for our sins. Also it means spending time with my family and being with one another. Also it means going to church and playing with my cousins that I don’t see a lot and it means having a big feast with my family. Also it is getting presents for kids that are poor and their family can’t afford them. That’s what Christmas means to me.

What Christmas Means To Me

For me, Christmas is a time to spend with family and to honor the day Jesus for born. It is a time to be with family that you haven’t seen in a long time. (or since Thanksgiving, at least). You can give your thanks to your family, too, by giving them a present, or a pie, or maybe just being at their Christmas celebration. For our Christmas celebration, EVERYONE in our family comes to my Pa and Gigi’s house a few days before Christmas Eve to eat a whole lot of food, and after that me and my cousins (I’m the only girl) play outside until it gets too dark to see. After that we go inside and eat desserts, and open presents, and then we all go home. For me, Christmas is a wonderful time.

What Christmas Means to Me

I think Christmas is a holiday that lets you spend time with your family ,because with school and work going on all the time you don’t get much time together as much as you should have.

I also think that Christmas is a time to have fun ,because when you are having fun it feels like nothing else matters in the world and without that feeling for at least a second Christmas isn’t as great as it was the year before.

I love it when you always get gifts that means a lot to me ,because I think that when you get a gift it motivates you to be a better person.

I know that all this is very distracting but we can’t forget about Jesus. Jesus is a very big deal when it comes to Christmas because it is his birthday and we would not get gift without him,but we would not get a lot of things without him.

That Is What Christmas Means To Me.

What Christmas Means to Me

Christmas means to join together with family and friends and have a good time. Christmas means to celebrate the birth of christ. Christmas also means to celebrate giving and receiving gifts and togetherness. Christmas is when you can get gifts and give gifts and have lots of fun and play in the snow with your family. Christmas is when you can he happy and joyful with all the people you care about. When Christmas comes around you can have friends and family over or you can go to one of their houses to celebrate.

What Christmas means to me is of when you hang up stockings, put up the Christmas tree but what matters most to me is coming together with your family. Now I’m going to list three things my family does When Christmas comes to town!

1.We open gifts.

2.We have a family meeting.

3.We have fun!!

Now those are just some of the many things we do on Christmas but if I told you ALL of the things we do then it would probably take to long so until next time have a jolly Christmas this year!!

Christmas means joy and spending time with friends. It means opening presents and waking up extra early. Christmas means seeing family that is far away. It means giving presents to people. It also means playing and having fun with the people that are close to you and that love you.It means getting christmas trees and making or getting ornaments to hang on the tree. Christmas means having fun and playing card games and board games. It means being in Christmas plays or going to see them. It means eating cookies or making them and drinking hot chocolate. It means going to eat with family. But most of all it means celebrating Jesus’s birth. Also Mary having Jesus and the shepherd and the sheep and the three wise men and the donkey was there. That is what Christmas means to me.

Christmas means to me, spending time with my family, to celebrate and be generous to each other. On Christmas morning I look forward to seeing family that I don’t see often. Most times on Christmas I go places to see my family and sometimes I go to visit friends. I like waking up on Christmas and seeing everybody smiling. I love the smell of Christmas, it makes me feel warm and happy. Christmas means being happy and having fun with the people you love. Celebrating Christmas is my favorite thing to do. I love decorating with my family and picking out a Christmas tree. I love getting presents but of course that is not the meaning of Christmas. I think you get the point that Christmas means having fun with but maybe it means something different to you.

Christmas is a time to get with your family and celebrate Jesus birthday.

It’s also a time when you put up a tree and put presents under it and stockings.

Also, Christmas is a time were people is nice to one another and just a good time of the year.

It’s also a time were you put on the table cookies and milk for a mysterious person called… Santa Claus where he would eat the cookies and drink the milk and in return of you being good the whole year we will give you presents only if you are good the whole year… if not he will give you something but it is going to be coal so yeah be good.

Christmas to most people mean showing off new things , making a big list of stuff and junk you don’t really need, getting mad when Santa doesn’t get what they asked for, food ,presents, christmas trees , friends and family. Only two of what I just listed are in my list. What Christmas means to me is mostly God . He is probably is number one on my list. He is most important to me because he came to life on this day. Me and my family celebrate by opening presents. We normally have a big meal but first we say a blessing. Next is family . Family is most important because you spend time with them every day. Some people’s family are really big and some live far away like mine . I have family in Maryland. Which is mostly my mom’s family and in North Carolina. In my mom’s family I am surrounded by boys, six to be exact . Then in Maryland I have two other girl cousins, Maggie and Sadie but I never get to see them. Last is friends and Santa. Friends are most important because you need friends to be joyful and happy. Santa is most important because from milk to cookies to lights and holly and mistletoe to ho ho ho. Santa to me brings my Christmas glee ! So that’s what christmas means to me.

I love Christmas.Celebrating God’s birthday and having fun.I love the presents and I love shopping for presents. Waking up in the morning makes me so happy like I can just jump and shout but I am too tired and I am saving it for the presents.I love spending time with my family. But in all I just love christmas.

Christmas to me is a time where you can stay inside and drink hot chocolate by the fire and stay comfy and cozy inside. I am always excited for friends and family to come over and eat and give presents. I love the Christmas smell in the living room. It comes from the candles that smell like gingerbread and peppermints. I love Christmas because you can spend time with your family and friends. My mom plays christmas music on TV and we dance while dad is making something. I love christmas!
