Roaring River girl donates hair to Locks of Love

Hope Leigh Sebastian, 8, recently donated her hair to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a nonprofit charity based in the United States that accepts donations of human hair with the stated intention of making wigs for American and Canadian children who have lost their hair due to medical conditions. Amanda Nance of Amanda’s Hair Studio of Elkin cut Hope’s hair for the donation. This is the second time that Hope has donated her hair to Locks of Love. Hope is the daughter of Bill and Sandy Sebastian and is a second-grade student at Roaring River Elementary School.
