MerleFest adds to this year’s lineup

Recent additions to the lineup for the MerleFest this year include The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, John Cowan, Della Mae and Delta Rae.

The event, scheduled for April 25-28, will be held on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro.

Tickets are available at www.merlefest.org on the web.

An early bird ticket discount is available through March 10.

In April Open Records will release a collection of 92 new recordings from the family archive, Milestons, Legends of the Doc Watson Clan.
