Mrs. Sharon Moncus Bailey, age 60 of Farmbrooke Lane in Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Forsyth County on April 21, 1949 to Elmer Lee Dean and LeOra Bray Moncus.
Mrs. Bailey was a retired secretary and a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by one daughter, Traci Danley and her husband, Richard, of Lexington; one grandchild, Madison Danley; and two step-grandchildren, Ashley and Katelyn Danley.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 26 at Crestwood Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends prior to the service at Hodges Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, Charlotte Office, 222 S. Church St., Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202, or to the donor’s choice.
