She was born Aug. 24, 1941 in Surry County to the late Clyde and Blanche Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ned Greene.
Surviving are her son, John Phillip (Lisa) Bullard; aunt, Tommye Myers (Dub) Phillips; and special friend, Christine Parker.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 23 at Swan Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Evan Bass.
The family will receive friends after the service at Swan Creek Baptist Church.
Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Greene family.
