Nowhere in the Holy Bible does it say same-sex marriage is okay. Nowhere does it state that a person is born to be a homosexual. But it does speak of marriage between male and female and against men being with men and women with women. It is true we cannot choose who our parents are or what sex we will be, or even the color of our skin. That is up to God to decide that. But it is your choice to become homosexual, not God’s.
In Genesis 2:18, 21-24, we read these words:
18: And the LORD God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
21: And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh thereof;
22: And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23: And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24: Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
God made Adam and Eve. They were joined in marriage by God. (Adam called his wife’s name Eve).
Gene1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God is against forbidden relationships. Man and man or woman and woman is not a marriage. It is sin in the sight of God, and it will never be accepted. God’s words on forbidden relationships are as follows:
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination (which is sin)
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Again in Romans 1:24-27 (God will do this)
24: Wherefore God also gave them up to their uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
God plainly tells us in I Corinthians 6:9-10 these words:
9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [perverts and homosexuals]
10: Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
We have a loving God Who, in John 3:16, did this for all of us.
16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The choice is left up to you. Take and do these three things. God will forgive.
WAKE UP – to the fact that you are a sinner.
I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
STAND UP – and be counted worthy to come into the Kingdom of God by accepting Christ as your Savior.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
SPEAK UP – Tell others of God’s forgiveness, how He saved you, and now you are a new person in Christ.
