ELKIN - Nine area hoop players were named honorable mentions when the league released the end-of-the-year awards last month.
After helping Elkin capture the regular-season conference title, sophomores Josh Strickland and Kody King earned the nod.
Starmount senior Zack Worley was named an honorable mention in his final season in Boonville, while Whitney Pardue and Miracle Walters garnered an honorable mention for the Lady Rams.
In Ronda, McKinley Johnson and Abram Logan received the nod for East Wilkes, while Adrian Pardue and ShaNisha White were named honorable mentions for the Lady Cardinals.
