A chicken house in Elkin was damaged in a fire Thursday morning.
The fire was reported around 3:20 a.m. at 241 AZ Phillips Road off Highway 268. No one was injured.
Crews arrived to a fully involved fire and remained at the scene for about 5 hours, fire officials said.
The house was vacant, fire officials said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
