Doris Louis Brinson, age 84 of Roaring River passed away on January 4, 2013 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Brinson was born in Suwannee County, FL on June 17, 1928 to the late Henry & Lucy Lanier Boatright.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Williams.

Ms. Brinson is survived by her loving children, Cheryl “Donna” Brinson Harper of Roaring River, Denise Brinson Hayes & husband David of Roaring River, Raymond D. Brinson Jr. & wife Judy of Blairsville GA; grandchildren, Lance Hayes & wife Lynne , Kelli Hayes Vidales & husband Eduardo, Amy Strout, Josh Harper, Karen Rain Reed, Angela Marie Hazelief, Crystal Ann Brinson; great grandchildren, Sydney Layne Hayes, Sofia’ Hayes Vidales, Kadence H. Hayes, Krisalyn H. Hayes, Kaitlin Penny, Douglas Penny, Stefani Strout, Cameron Reed, Brandon Reed, Wyatt Nathaniel Hazelief.

A Graveside service will be held 2:00p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 12:00-1:45p.m.
