The Town of Elkin and other organizations will be hosting the 5th Annual Buckin’ Elks Tailgate Party Friday night prior to the Battle of the Bridge.
ELKIN - Prior to kickoff of Friday’s Battle of the Bridge, the 5th Annual Buckin’ Elks Tailgate Party will be held at the old football field to fire up Elkin fans.
The Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce, Town of Elkin Mayor and Commissioners, Elkin City Schools Board of Education, Business Advisory Council, Parent Advisory Council and Teacher Leadership Council will be hosting the tailgate before Elkin and Starmount hit the field at Grissom Stadium.
The party will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will feature hot dogs, chips, drinks and brownies.
Elkin takes on cross-town rival Starmount in the annual Battle of the Bridge matchup at 7:30 p.m.
