Gailya Mae Tucker Bryant, 75 of Ronda, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Mrs. Bryant was born, Feb. 11, 1937, in Wilkes County to Wayne and Ruth Flynn Tucker. Mrs. Tucker was retired from NC Department of Transportation and was a member of Oak Level Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: husband, Foyle Bryant of Ronda; son, Chris Bryant and wife, Sandy of Ronda; grandson, Garrett Bryant and wife Elizabeth of Roaring River; grandson, Caleb Bryant of Roaring River; granddaughter, Lyndsey Srassburger of Robinson, TX; brothers, Archie Tucker and wife Faye of Ronda and Johnny Tucker of Ronda; sisters, Ruby Holcomb and husband Tommy of Thurmond, Patsy Wilson of Wake Forest, Cathy Settle and husband David of Elkin and, Jennie Jaworski of Winston-Salem, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church with Rev. Matty Poncedelon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following service.
