ELKIN — Yadkin Valley Financial Corp., the holding company for Yadkin Valley Bank & Trust, reported Monday a regular cash dividend of 13 cents per share for the second quarter. The 82nd consecutive quarterly dividend will be paid July 25 to shareholders of record July 10.
Founded in 1968, Yadkin Valley BAnk & Trust has grown to 30 branches from Northwest North Carolina to the Raleigh-Durham area, following a merger with Cardinal State Bank. Yadkin Valley Bank also operates branches in Iredell and Mecklenberg counties and a loan production office in Wilmington.
With $1.4 billion in assets, Yadkin Valley Bank is now the 13th largest bank in North Carolina. With branches in East Bend, Jonesville and Yadkinville, Yadkin Valley Bank accounts for 30 percent of the total bank deposits in Yadkin County.
