Yadkin school officials confirmed the news at Monday night's board of education meeting. Wallace will begin his duties at Davie High School July 1. Prior to be named principal at Forbush, Wallace served as assistant principal, was an in-school suspension coordinator and teacher. He succeeded Gary McDonald who was named an assistant superintendent with the Yadkin County schools system.
