Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for local artists to donate their visual artwork, or display, or sell it, at the new state-of-the-art Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, scheduled to open in the Fall, 2008.
The group, which serves all of Yadkin and portions of Surry and Wilkes counties welcomes appropriate, non-controversial artwork in the forms of drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, pottery and ceramics, metal crafting and woodworking.
The Woltz Hospice Home, a 22,000-square-foot facility, will feature 20 bedroom suites with outdoor patios, two large family rooms, theatre, soda shop, children's playroom, meditation garden, patient salon and spa.
