I am 90 years old, and I would like to know why four of the county commissioners want something so fine for a jail.
The ones that want this jail should put it in one of their back yards and pay for it with their own money and not charge us old people that cannot work more taxes.
Some people live in houses that are not as good as the four commissioners want the jail to be for the criminals.
When you take Jesus and prayer out of the commissioners' meeting room, it is disgusting, and whomever took prayer out of school, they were not doing anything good for Yadkin County children. It is no wonder there is so much shooting and killing in the schools. Those that do not want prayer in the schools should have to build their own schools and those commissioners that do not want to use Jesus' name in prayer should be so ashamed they would resign.
