Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Charles Macy of Yadkinville; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Edward and Vivian Nixon of Thurmond; seven grandchildren and spouses, Deborah Pardue (LeHew), Christopher Edward Nixon (Gwyn), Kimberly Robertson (Chuck), Jeffrey Macy, Angie Walker (Mike), Judi Phillips (Tracy) and Amy Shore (Sandy); 14 great-grandchildren Brant Macy, Nichole Walker, Mindy Walker, Brandon Walker, Trey Phillips, Devin Phillips, Macy Phillips, Benjamin Edward Nixon (Amber), Ryan Pardue, Ethan Pardue, Charlie Robertson, Hayley Robertson, Luke Shore and Laura Shore; by one great-great grandchild, William Edward Nixon; and one sister, Pauline S. Hayworth of Flagler Beach, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., at Mountain Park Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery. The family will receive at Mountain Park Baptist Church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time for the service.
