Elkin Valley Baptist Church is currently registering for the inaugural season of Upward Soccer.

The league is open to boys and girls in kindergarten (must be five years old) through sixth-grade.

Early registration will last until Jan. 31. The cost is $60 per player. The final registration deadline is Feb. 14, with the cost to register increasing to $70 on Feb. 1.

Prospective players must attend one soccer evaluation session in early February at the North Elkin field. Evaluations will be held Thursday, Feb. 5 (4:30-6:30 p.m.); Saturday, Feb. 7 (11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) and Tuesday, Feb. 10 (4:30-6:30 p.m.).

Practice will begin March 21, with games starting on Saturday, March 28. All games will be played on Saturdays. The season-ending awards celebration will be Monday, June 1.
