Mrs. Ruth Morrison Moxley, 79, of Depot Street, Boonville, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Willowbrook Health Care Center. She was born July 5, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Sinclair and Levora Dinkins Morrison. Mrs. Moxley was retired from the Yadkin County School System and was a member of Boonville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Foy Moxley, a sister: Stella Burchette, and 2 brothers: Dixie Morrison and Worth Morrison. Surviving are her loving daughter: Bronwyn Belcher, of Dobson, 2 grandchildren: Emma Belcher, John Blake Belcher, several nieces, nephews, and 3 sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Gentry Family Chapel with the Rev. Ken Boaz officiating. Burial will be in North Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
