The department fought a two-acre brushfire Sunday afternoon of unknown origin that damaged an out building on Burnout Lane near Kapps Mill.
"The dry grass and dead limbs are out there and ready to burn," Sewell said. High winds also made the firefighting Sunday more difficult.
