We moved to Elkin eight years ago from Arizona to find peace and a good place to raise our children. We have a skateboarder.
Skateboarding is a multi-million dollar industry and a fine sport. Wilkesboro has two skate parks which keep the kids off of the street and gives them a place to go to exersise their sport.
It is time that Elkin moves up to its reputation as a wonderful place to raise children and provide a state-of-the-art skateboard park for boarders. Elkin is a wonderful place and needs to shed its fear and move into the the future.
