Pleasant Hill targets medical needs for fire department grant

Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire department was presented last week with a check for $20,000 in matching funds by the NC Department of Insurance.

The funds are being used to reimburse the department for their new medical response truck.

Most of the calls that the department respond to are for medical emergencies.
