Minnie Lee Casstevens of Hamptonville, NC, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Anne Casstevens Moseley of Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her huband: Oscar Paul Casstevens. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church of Hamptonville. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly, and was a devout fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels.

She is survived by her son: Roger Paul Casstevens of Hamptonville, NC, her daughter: Anne Casstevens Moseley of Spartanburg, SC, four grandchildren: Amy Casstevens McEntire of North Wilkesboro, NC, Mitchell Paul Casstevens of Hamptonville, NC, Brennan Westervelt Moseley of Atlanta, GA, and George Edward Casstevens Moseley of Chapel Hill, NC. Also surviving are two great grandchildren: Lucas McEntire and Kristen McEntire, both of North Wilkesboro, NC.

Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 at Gentry Family Funeral Services, Jonesville Chapel, Jonesville, NC. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial was in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
