But alumni football teams from the two schools have planned a game for the weekend after Christmas.
The alumni Cardinals and Falcons will play each other in East Bend on Dec. 29 at 4 p.m. East Wilkes played an alumni team from North Wilkes this past Saturday, while the Forbush alums played Starmount earlier this month.
Alumni sporting events have been growing more popular in the area in recent years, with alumni baseball teams from East Wilkes, Forbush and Starmount playing one another over the summer.
East and North also play alumni games in men's and women's basketball.
