Former Elkin football standout Hagan Miller worked his way into the NCAA Division III record books on Saturday in Guilford College's 21-17 season's ending win over Emory & Henry.

The redshirt sophomore caught 11 passes for 134 yards -- setting the new Old Dominion Athletic Conference mark for receptions in a season at 103.

Miller had 976 receiving yards this fall -- tops on his team --and made 11 touchdown grabs. Guilford wrapped up the 2007 campaign with a 6-4 overall record, 2-4 in the ODAC.

Quakers quarterback Josh Vogelbach completed 34 of 54 passes for 364 yards in his finale against Emory & Henry, editing his own single season records for completions (331) and yards (3,618) in the process.
