To the editor:

I am writing to recommend David Morrison for the town board of Elkin. David is an individual uniquely qualified for such a position. He is a successful businessman who understands the needs of the business community. He knows what it is to meet a payroll, pay taxes and find solutions to pressing problems.

Even more importantly, David possesses a great concern for people. Whether it be the elderly, the young or those in between, he has compassion for the needs of people. He would be an alderman who would take his responsibility to represent the citizens very seriously.

David has demonstrated great leadership at Elkin Valley Baptist Church. He is a Christian man who possesses a sincere faith and strives to live daily as a follower of Jesus Christ. He has provided exceptional leadership in the various roles and responsibilities he has been called upon to fill in the church. In every area he has served with sacrifice, generosity, and faithfulness. He truly exhibits the concept of servant leadership. Such qualities would serve the town of Elkin well.

As such, I am confident that David Morrison would serve the citizens of Elkin well. He possesses the integrity, conviction, vision, and wisdom that are so necessary for leadership. Most importantly, he cares about people. These are just a few of the characteristics which make him an excellent choice for the citizens of Elkin.
