Five boys soccer teams from The Tribune and Yadkin Ripple coverage area made the state playoffs. Elkin and Starmount will be at home for first round action, while Forbush, Surry Central and North Wilkes will travel.

1A -- Thomasville (9-6-1) at Elkin (16-6-1), 8 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 31
2A -- Morganton Patton (12-11-0) at Starmount (11-5-2), 6 p.m.
2A -- Forbush (6-11-2) at West Henderson (13-7-2), 6 p.m.
2A -- Surry Central (7-10-0) at Monroe (13-5-3), 6 p.m.
2A -- North Wilkes (11-6-1) at East Lincoln (7-11-2), 7 p.m.
