Lamm is a native of Arkansas who moved to Elkin in 1998 and began her career at the Elkin Tribune. Married to Scott Lamm, they have three children Brady, Cameron & Maggie Lamm a Border Collie named Patches and a Westie named Bailey. Contact Lamm for advertising or for general office information.
Phyllis Carter is a native of the Elkin, Jonesville area and came to work for the Tribune in December 2011. She grew up in Wilkes County and has lived in Jonesville since 1988 when she married Bruce Carter. They have no children but love to spoil everyone else. They have two cats, Fluffy who is about 14 years old and Tiger, a main coon who weighs over 14 pounds. Favorite hobbies are reading, crocheting and designing floral arrangements for all occasions.
Wendy Byerly Wood has been with the company since February 2001. She started out as a reporter at The Mount Airy News, and has since worked as editor at The Stokes News and the Weekly Independent. For some time she has served as editor of The Pilot, a position she retains, and in October 2013 she became content manager for The Elkin Tribune and The Yadkin Ripple. She lives in Pilot Mountain with her husband, Johnnie III, and their son, Jackson Kourtland "Kourt" who is 3.
