Cyclists begin their trip Saturday morning on Edwards-Franklin House loop of the annual Tour De Mayberry. Bicyclists selected from three routes: The 100-mile Tour de Mayberry, which includes a climb up Pilot Mountain; the 44-mile scenic Edwards Franklin House tour; or, the 19-mile tour of Mount Airy, which winds through many sites made famous by the Andy Griffith Show.

Although participations was down a little this year, the Tour de Mayberry went on as planned Saturday with three different bike rides, a 5K and a fun run.
