Parents still have until June 16 to submit their children in The Tribune’s Cutest Kid contest, and voting starts on June 3.
The overall winner will receive a $250 prize, and some of the category winners will earn a $135 prize.
Carolina West Wireless is the title sponsor, and Blue Ridge Women’s Center, Federal Financial Services, Cook Insurance and Members Credit Union are category sponsors.
The entry period started on Mother’s Day, and submissions will be accepted until June 16.
Voting begins at midnight on June 3 and continues through 5 p.m. on June 17.
Winners will be announced later that week both online and in print.
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, or anyone who simply thinks a youngster is cute, can enter children in the contest, as long as they have permission to do so.
To enter your children in the Cutest Kid contest, visit www.elkintribune.com and click on the link to the right that says “Cutest Kid Contest.”
The entire contest is free – registration, uploading the photos and even voting.
Those who want their friends to vote can link the entry to the contest on their Facebook pages and other social networking sites.
