I think Paul Ryan is an excellent choice and it underscores Governor Romney’s serious approach to tackling the biggest issues facing our nation — reining in federal spending and addressing our massive deficit, ensuring the long-term viability of important safety net programs, reforming our nation’s tax code, enacting true health care reform, and putting Americans back to work.
With Paul’s experience in these areas at the federal level and Governor Romney’s proven leadership, this is a great team and one that will put our country back on the right track for Americans today and generations to come.
Democrats, including the President, have wanted to make this campaign about everything except for these critical issues, because they have no plan to deal with them. It is time to talk about these vital issues and address them in a way that put our country on a sustainable path for the future.
