Not pictured is Heaven’s Scent owner Jones Darnell. Heaven’s Scent closed the restaurant portion of the business Nov. 7, 2011, but continued to operate the catering business. Now both parts of the business are operating. The restaurant, located on Standard Street in Elkin, will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Saturday, then it will close from Dec. 24-31. It will reopen Jan. 1, and its hours will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 5-8 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. Customers will be allowed to bring their wine to the restaurant, where they will be provided with wine glasses and have their wine bottles uncorked for free.
