The Elkin Community Blood Drive will take place at the Elkin Rescue Squad (shown in photo) on Monday, December 17th.
The American Red Cross is saying, “Be Extraodinary. Donate Blood.”
The second Annual Christmas Blood Drive will take place on Monday, Dec. 17 from 1:30 p.m.-6 p.m at the Elkin Rescue Squad located at 940 N. Bridge Str.
Sponsors for the event are the Tri-County Sertoma and the American Red Cross.
This year’s holiday blood drive is dedicated to the memory of the late Charles Madison, a 26 year member of the Tri-County Sertoma.
The American Red Cross appeals to the public to donate the gift of blood during the holidays. All donors must bring photo identification and will be eligible for winning a gift card of $1,000.
