Jerry and Mattie Lane of Dobson, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Nicole Lane, to Charlie Andrew Widner, son of Henry and Jean Shores of Thurmond, N.C.
Miss Lane is completing her senior year at Appalachian State University where she will graduate with a degree in elementary education. Mr. Widner is also completing his senior year at Appalachian State University where he will graduate with a degree in history and secondary education.
The wedding is to be held on Saturday, the twenty-eighth of July, 2012, in Dosbon at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
