In an effort to raise money and awareness about the Jonesville Greenway Project, The Friends of the Jonesville Greenway will present a Gospel and Bluegrass music festival this Saturday and Sunday at Lila Swaim Park in Jonesville.

The festival will run from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and from 1:45-8 p.m. on Sunday. Some scheduled performers include “Cool Water Gospel,” “Soulshine Band,” “The Grasshoppers,” “Joyful Noise” “None of the Above, ” and “Victory Chapel.”

Barbeque will be available, and there will be games for the kid.

The price of admission is $2.

How to contribute toward the Jonesville Greenway

You can honor a family member or friend by purchasing a tree, picnic table, bench or azalea bush in his or her name. Your honoree’s name will be place on a plaque that will be affixed to the picnic table or bench. If you purchase a tree or azalea bush, a standing plaque will be placed next to it bearing his or her name. You can also show your support by purchasing a Friend of the Greenway decal for just $1
