Staff Reports
Athletic directors from Mountain Valley 1A/2A schools met Monday morning to finalize basketball schedules for the last week of the regular season.
As a result, several games this week have been moved around. Switches were made, mainly to accommodate teams who have to play four games because of snow make-ups. The state mandates that teams are allowed to play four games in a week only if the fourth game comes on a Saturday.
The new lineup of games is listed below. Please disregard schedules printed in Monday's print edition of The Tribune. Our print deadline was Sunday night, before the ADs meeting.
NOTE: The MVAC tournament is still slated to start next Tuesday and run through Friday. The complete schedule has not been set yet. Starmount is the designated host school for the boys and girls semifinals and championship games.
