Charge: Misdemeanor larceny

When reported: Oct. 14 at 4: 15 p.m.

Location: CC Camp Road, Walmart

Details: Amber Lynn Holsclaw, 20, of State Road was charged with misdemeanor larceny, according to an incident report. Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a larceny, and upon arrival Holsclaw removed several items that she had concealed in her purse including several women’s shirts and women’s cosmetics, according to the incident report. She was cited and released with a court date.

Charge: Failure to pay fines

When reported: Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m.

Location: North Bridge Street Elkin

Details: Officers charged Paul Eugene Triplett, 20, of Elkin, with failure to pay his $515 bond, according to an incident report. He was arrested, transported to Dobson, payed his fine and was released.

Charge: Misdemeanor larceny

When reported: Oct. 13 at 3:52 p.m.

Location: CC Camp Road, Walmart

Details: Andrea Rachelle Marshall was charged with misdemeanor larceny, according to an incident report. An individual told police he had observed her putting merchandise in her purse and exiting Walmart, according to the report.

Charge: Misdemeanor larceny

When reported: Oct. 12 at 8:59 p.m.

Location: Belk, North Bridge Street

Details: Alisha Nicole Shermer, 21, of Yadkinville, was charged with misdemeanor larceny after a Belk employee allegedly saw her take and conceal clothing and perfume and exit the store, according to the incident report. Officers arrived and recover the stolen mechanise from her car. The merchandise stolen had a $527 value.
