Betty O. Sneed, age 82 of Elkin passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Joan and Howard Woltz hospice home. Mrs. Sneed was born on October 15, 1930 to the late Enoch and Beulah Newman Osborne.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Allen Sneed; a son, Allen Craig Sneed; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Sneed is survived by her son, Billy Grant Sneed of Elkin; sister, Molly Jean Guyer and husband Bill of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Chevas Brandon Sneed, Cheyene Katlan Sneed; and several loving nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service were held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at Little Richmond Baptist Church by Rev. Scott Faw.
