We are told by evolutionists that this world is billions of years old.

We are also told by evolutionists that all things evolved from something else. Another thing they tell us is the dinosaurs lived and died millions of years before man ever lived on the earth. While they lived here on earth, as the story goes, they killed and devoured one another. They know this, because they have found fossils of dinosaurs, which had dinosaur fossils within their stomachs, indicating that they ate one another.

The stronger the dinosaur was, or the more fit it was, the longer it would survive, hence the term “survival of the fittest.” Did you know that scientists have discovered cancer in the bones of some of these dinosaurs? There are scientists who actually specialize in the study of dinosaur cancers. Did you know that they have also found fossilized thorns, in which the evolutionists date to be 400 million years old?

This puts these specific thorns before the dinosaurs walked the earth, according to the evolutionary time scale. In essence, what they are telling us is that cancer existed, death occurred and thorns were present, for millions of years before man ever came along on planet earth.

What’s my point? Well, let’s take a look at some very important things from the Scriptures. God created everything that exists, in just six 24 hour days, according to the Bible. At the end of the sixth day, God said something very important. It is recorded in Genesis 1:31, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…” So let’s get the big picture together. After God had created all things, like dinosaurs, humans, plants, planets, stars, animals, and everything else in between, God looked at it all and said it was “very good.”

If it were true that dinosaurs had cancer, killed one another, and died off, millions of years before man lived on earth, then God said that death and suffering was “very good,” because it was after man was created when God had made this statement. Now, if this is the case, then what kind of God would we have, if He said that death and suffering was very good? No, I submit to you that when God said it was all “very good” that He was telling the truth. A “very good” creation would not have had death and suffering in it. And this is in fact what we find.

You see, death and suffering did not exist until after Adam and Eve sinned, because that was a part of the punishment, or the curse, in which God placed on the creation as a result of their sin (Rom. 5:12). What about the thorns the evolutionists claim are 400 million years old? Well, according to the Bible, there were no thorns on earth at all until after Adam and Eve sinned. So it was after man had already begun to walk the earth, when the thorns began to grow. As a punishment for Adam (and hence to all men), God cursed the ground so that it began to produce thorns and thistles (Gen. 3:18).

So, the Bible tells us that death, suffering and thorns didn’t exist, until after man walked the earth, and evolutionists tell us that these things existed before man walked the earth. So who is right? God, or the evolutionists? If we take the Bible literally and consistently, then we have a God who created all things perfect, without death and suffering, so that when He stated that it was all “very good,” then it actually was “very good.” If we believe evolution, then we have no answer for why there is death and suffering in the world, and this leads to the attitude that death and suffering is and always has been, a part of life, and that we should just get used to it.

But why is there death and suffering in the world? It was because God introduced these things into the world due to Adam and Eve’s sin against God. Adam and Eve are the parents of all humanity, so by default, every person on earth who has ever lived and is living now, are all guilty of the same sin, because we all have the same bloodline, and therefore we’re all contaminated with the same sin, therefore making us all sinners.

Thus, we have all inherited the same curse as Adam and Eve did. This is why the Bible says that we are all sinners, in Romans 3:23 & 5:12. This is also why we all need salvation from a real place called Hell (Luke 16). There is none of us good (Luke 18:19), and we cannot do enough good to earn our way to heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9). But God seen us in our sins, and loved us enough to make a way for us to be forgiven. Read John 3:16, and then notice what Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus is the only way to heaven (John 10:9), so if we go to Heaven, we must come through Him and only Him (Revelation 1:5).

Even though God punished creation with a curse, which includes death and suffering, He still provides hope for us all, in the midst of this mess. He could’ve just as easily thrown us away, and started a new creation all over again, but He decided to love us in spite of our rebellion against Him, and provided a way for us to be forgiven! Praise Him for He is worthy!

My friends, our Bible is true, and evolution is a lie.
