Elkin High School PTSA Hosts Speaker The Elkin High School PTSA speaker program will begin on October 12. EHS PTSA's first speaker will be school counselor Ms. Mary Ann Osment, who will give an overview of opportunities available to students including, but not limited to, community college options while in high school, online classes, upcoming career fairs, scholarship opportunities, college savings accounts, and academic ventures. This is a terrific opportunity for parents and other members of the community to hear what's available to our students and ask questions. All members of the community are invited. Students are encouraged to attend. This is the first of a series of monthly speakers who will be invited to regular PTSA meetings. The meeting will be held in the Elkin Public Library, multi-purpose room on Monday, October 12 at 6:30pm. Free.
