Yale Huie will be preaching at Garden Creek Baptist Church Sunday at 9 a.m. Services will resume the summer schedule of having service every Sunday next month.

Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church will have a spring revival April 10-15 at 7 p.m. with prayer room at 6:45 p.m. Mark Adams will be preaching on Sunday night and Jeff Brown will be preaching the rest of the week. Pastor Tracy Nichols invites everyone to worship with them.

New books available to check out at the Traphill Branch Library include “Surf’s Up” by Kwame Alexander, “The Turnip” by Jan Brett, “What Do You Do with an Idea?” by Kobi Yamada, “When Spring Comes” by Kevin Henkes, “Yellow Brick War” by Danielle Paige, “Bomb: The Race to Build-And Steal-The World’s Most Dangerous Weapon” by Steve Sheinkin, and “The Boys Who Challenged Hitler: Knud Pedersen and the Churchill Club” by Phillip Hoose.

Condolences go to the family of Susie Woodel, who died on March 24. Susie was the sister of John Robert Pierce.

Emily Holbrook enjoyed a birthday party with her friends and family over the weekend. There was lots of good food and gifts.

Happy birthday wishes go to Karen Shumate and Anthony Jennings on March 28; Teresa Jennings on March 29; Patsy Triplett and Mark Daye on March 30; Brenda Triplett on April 1; and Robin Kennedy and Kaitlyn Michelle Spicer on April 3.

Happy anniversary wishes go to Donnie and Lisa Mastin on March 30.

Traphill had a low temperature of 32.3 degrees on March 22 and a high temperature of 79.5 degrees on March 25. There was .2 inch of rain in Traphill during the week of March 21-27.
