Area tennis players dominated the All-Mountain Valley Conference team, the league announced earlier this month.


Two-time defending conference champion East Wilkes placed four players on the first team, led by individual league champ Molly Callaway. Abby Burchette, ShaNisha White and McKenzie Stokes also received all-conference honors.


Conference doubles champions Payton Nicholson and Miracle Walters headlined Elkin’s four honorees. Makayla Dimmette and Ally Gentry also were named to the All-MVAC squad.


Madison McLellan and Kristin Nicks earned first-team honors for Starmount.
