RONDA — The town of Ronda will hold a Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday at the Ronda Town Hall, 123 Chatham St.
“The Board of Commissioners meeting begins at 7 p.m., but we will actually hold our quarterly meeting this week, beginning at 6:30 p.m., where we let our citizens voice their concerns,” said Sam Foster, commissioner. “We welcome our citizens’ concerns and suggestions. We open the floor so they can have an even more important part in the community. We want people to feel like what they say makes a difference when they voice their concerns.”
According to the agenda, officials will be given updates on projects concerning the Yadkin Valley Sewer Authority, the Highway 268 water project, the Economic Development Commission and High Country Council of Government.
Old business will include information about the Board of Elections recall, N-Focus Ordinances, a heat pump, an old office space and privilege licenses.
The commissioners will discuss Vonda Falls property, a notary situation, a new safe and cemetery repair during the new business time of the meeting before going into closed session to discuss a personnel issue.
