Mars Hill University marshals recognized for academic success

MARS HILL — Sixteen students have been recognized as university marshals for the 2016-17 academic year at Mars Hill University.

The marshals at Mars Hill are comprised of the eight students with the highest grade-point averages from each of the rising junior and senior classes. Each marshal must have completed at least three semesters at Mars Hill University.

Four of this year’s marshals have a 4.0 grade-point average.

Included in the marshals is Danielle Nicole Dunn of Elkin.

Mars Hill University is a premier private, liberal arts institution offering more than 30 baccalaureate degrees and one graduate degree in elementary education.
