Fourth-grade students at Dobson Elementary School traveled to Raleigh to learn about the state government and visit museums. They spent the day seeing how the North Carolina General Assembly works first hand and also toured the State Capital Building to see where the governor works.

They learned about the state’s history at the North Carolina Museum of History and then made it across the street to the NC Museum of Natural Science. It was an amazing day of learning for the students.
