BOONVILLE — On Nov. 7, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office was called to respond to a break in that had occurred at a residence on Longtown Road in Boonville during the morning hours. The victim had returned home at noontime and found the front door broken in and items missing in the residence. The victim had a possible suspect who had stopped by the residence earlier in the morning.
Later on in the afternoon on the same day, the victim called again and said the suspect had returned and was attempting to get into the residence. The deputy who had responded earlier located Jonathan Welborn Yarboro, 25, of Hamptonville. Yarboro was arrested at the scene for one felony count of possession of methamphetamine and was given a $5,000 secured bond.
After an investigation of the break-in, Yarboro was arrested on Nov. 8 for one felony count of breaking and entering and one felony count of larceny after breaking and entering. His bond was set at $10,000. His court date is Dec. 8.
