Wayne Overcash will be bringing the message May 18 at 9 a.m. at Garden Creek Baptist Church. Campers in the Stone Mountain State Park are invited to come as you are to worship in this historic church.

Join a park ranger in the Stone Mountain State Park on May 17 and discover the life in a mountain stream by taking a close look at the macro-invertebrates. Prepare to get wet! Meet at the lower parking lot at 2 p.m.

On May 18, join a ranger for a hike on the Kid’s Track trail, a portion of the Stone Mountain Loop Trail that has been identified as a great family trail. This will be a one-mile interpretive hike and last about an hour. Meet at the lower parking lot at 2 p.m.

Traphill had a low temperature of 52.3 degrees on May 6 and a high temperature of 88.7 degrees on May 8. There was only a sprinkle of rain during the week of May 5-11 in Traphill.
