Roselli Foods of Pilot Mountain announced a branding change to Granny Roselli’s Original Salad Dressing.
The salad dressing featured an image Daisy Roselli as a 95-year-old grandmother who was a staple at a local eatery in Wilkes County.
The new salad dressing bottles will now feature Granny Roselli when she was younger.
Upon the passing of Daisy Wiles Roselli in December of 2010, her son’s Frank, Joseph, and John took specific recipe’s made famous by the grandmother and launched into a food venture now reaching 114 stores in North Carolina.
“We conducted many market campaigns to determine which photograph customers liked the most. Nine out of 10 grabbed the new image,” said John Roselli.
According to Roselli, the new photograph of Granny Roselli was taken in 1931 in Wilkes County. Other Roselli products will feature the new image.
