The Friends of Traphill Branch Library are planning a yard sale at Traphill Tan & Tone and would like donations. If you have items, drop them off at the Tan & Tone or call the library at 957-2534 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays and someone will pick them up.

Condolences go to the family of Jim Hicks, who passed away last week. Jim was the son of Mona McGrady Hicks and grandson of John Earl McGrady.

Get well wishes go to Barry Riggan, who had back surgery recently, and to Magnum Garris, who’s back in the hospital and may have to have another surgery.

Happy birthday wishes go to Gail Brewer on Nov. 11; Adam Johnson on Nov. 12; Russell Sidden, Anna Lee Owens and Jack Thomas on Nov. 13; Tabitha Smith on Nov. 15; and Walter Lewis Kennedy, Bonnie Bauguess, Andrew Pardue and Donald Bauguess on Nov. 17.

Happy anniversary wishes go to April and Jackie Pruitt Jr., who celebrate their fourth anniversary on Nov. 11; Hardin and Becky Kennedy, who celebrate their 14th anniversary on Nov. 13; Margaret and Zeb Johnson, who celebrate on Nov. 13; and Walter and Wanda Hutchinson, who celebrate their 39th anniversary on Nov. 16.

Traphill had a low temperature of 29.3 degrees on Nov. 9 and a high temperature of 72.1 degrees on Nov. 10. There was .1 inch of rain during the week of Nov. 4-10. Judy Dupree reported seeing hummingbirds three days last week. Fay Harris says that’s a full month later than she’s ever seen them before this time of year.
